a grace bestowed
to waltz with you
and twirl the litheness
of your being
through the gentle fall
and cascading whirl
of sanguine autumn leaves
until tree leafs become snowflakes
and the kindled warmth
of our clasped souls
melts a sphere
for the season’s dance
to now and ever last

So Beautiful 🙂
Thank you so, Morgan!
Lyrical. So lovely. I want to dance with this poem. My favorite line is, “Until tree leafs become snowflakes.”
Thank you, Kim! If I may, I will share a dance with you…

Thank you so much, Suz! Taking your cue, weaving the breath into the imagery also brings in the fragrances as well. A lovely addition – thank you!
Very beautiful, I ‘hear’ the rhythm…
Thank you, Hanne, enjoy the waltz!
Love soaking in those words.
So glad that the imagery worked for you, Georgia! One does long to immerse oneself…
I relate a lot to this “seasons dance”, was exactly what I was thinking about today when watching leaves swirling in the wind. Great poem!
Thank you, Inese! Interesting that you had the same thought… The falling leaves are so suggestive…
I enjoyed this,, you captured the dance of the swirl of leaves so well in autumn breeze 🙂
